شركة الفيوم للغاز التابعة لڤالمور القابضة تدشن مبادرة بيئية بوادي الريان في إطار مسؤوليتها المجتمعية
كتب رأفت إبراهيم…تحت رعاية محافظة الفيوم، نظّمت شركة الفيوم للغاز، إحدى الشركات التابعة لڤالمور القابضة، مبادرة بيئية للتوعية والحفاظ على البيئة في محمية وادي الريان بمحافظة الفيوم، وذلك بمناسبة يوم البيئة العالمي 2026، وفي إطار التزام الشركة المستمر بتعزيز المسؤولية المجتمعية وحماية البيئة ودعم التنمية المستدامة.
وشهدت المبادرة مشاركة ممثلين عن محافظة الفيوم، من بينهم مدير جهاز شؤون البيئة بالمحافظة، ومدير محمية وادي الريان، إلى جانب ممثلين عن عدد من الجمعيات الأهلية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني المعنية بحماية البيئة والاستدامة، بالإضافة إلى موظفي شركة الفيوم للغاز وڤالمور القابضة.
وتضمنت المبادرة حملة لتنظيف المنطقة وعددًا من الأنشطة التوعوية الهادفة إلى رفع الوعي البيئي بين الموظفين والمجتمع المحلي وزوار المحمية، وتشجيع السلوكيات البيئية المسؤولة، ودعم جهود الحفاظ على النظم البيئية الفريدة التي تتميز بها محافظة الفيوم. كما هدفت المبادرة إلى تسليط الضوء على القيمة البيئية والطبيعية والسياحية لكل من بحيرة قارون ومحمية وادي الريان، باعتبارهما من أبرز المقاصد الطبيعية والمحميات ذات الأهمية البيئية في مصر.
وتأتي هذه المبادرة ضمن جهود الفيوم للغاز في تفعيل دورها في المسؤولية المجتمعية، من خلال مبادرات عملية تساهم في خدمة المجتمع المحلي، وتعزيز الشراكة مع الجهات الحكومية والمجتمع المدني، وتحويل مفاهيم الاستدامة إلى ممارسات ملموسة على أرض الواقع. كما تعكس المبادرة توجه الشركة نحو ربط الأداء التشغيلي المسؤول بالأثر المجتمعي والبيئي الإيجابي.
وفي هذا السياق، قال المهندس محمود حمدي، رئيس مجلس الإدارة والعضو المنتدب لشركة الفيوم للغاز:
“تمثل المسؤولية البيئية والمجتمعية جزءًا أساسيًا من نهج عملنا ومن القيمة التي نسعى إلى تحقيقها في شركة الفيوم للغاز. ومن خلال هذه المبادرة، نؤكد التزامنا بالمشاركة الفاعلة في حماية البيئة وتعزيز الوعي المجتمعي بأهمية الحفاظ على المحميات الطبيعية، بما يدعم جهود الدولة ومحافظة الفيوم في صون الموارد الطبيعية وتنمية السياحة البيئية.”
وأضاف:”وتستند هذه المبادرة إلى نتائج ملموسة حققتها الشركة على مستوى عملياتها التشغيلية، حيث نجحنا خلال عام 2025 في خفض استهلاك الكهرباء بنسبة 14.4%، وتقليل استهلاك البنزين بنسبة 4.9%، وخفض انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون بنسبة 5.9% مقارنة بالعام السابق. كما حصلت الشركة على شهادة ISO 50001، بما يعكس التزامنا بدمج مبادئ كفاءة الطاقة والاستدامة في ممارساتنا اليومية، والعمل جنبًا إلى جنب مع مختلف الأطراف المعنية للحفاظ على التراث الطبيعي لمحافظة الفيوم للأجيال القادمة.”

وتؤكد الفيوم للغاز، من خلال هذه المبادرة، استمرارها في دعم الجهود الوطنية الرامية إلى حماية البيئة، وتعزيز ثقافة الاستدامة، وتشجيع العمل الجماعي للحفاظ على الموارد الطبيعية، بما يساهم في تحقيق أثر بيئي ومجتمعي مستدام داخل محافظة الفيوم وخارجها.
جدير بالذكر أن شركة الفيوم للغاز، إحدى الشركات التابعة لـڤالمور القابضة، تأسست عام 2000 وتُعد من الشركات الرائدة في مجال توزيع الغاز الطبيعي في مصر، حيث تعمل بموجب اتفاقيات امتياز مع الشركة المصرية القابضة للغازات الطبيعية (إيجاس). وتتخصص الشركة في تمويل وإنشاء وتشغيل وصيانة وتطوير شبكات وأنظمة الغاز الطبيعي داخل محافظة الفيوم. كما تدير امتياز تغطية المحافظة بالكامل من خلال شبكة خطوط أنابيب تمتد لأكثر من 3,000 كيلومتر، بما يضمن توصيل الغاز الطبيعي بكفاءة وأمان إلى العملاء السكنيين والتجاريين والصناعيين، ويسهم في دعم البنية التحتية للطاقة بالمحافظة.

Fayoum Gas, a Subsidiary of Valmore Holding, Launches Environmental Initiative at Wadi El Rayan as Part of its Commitment to Sustainability, Natural Resource Protection, and Corporate Social Responsibility
Cairo, 16 June 2026: Under the patronage of Fayoum Governorate, Fayoum Gas, a subsidiary of Valmore Holding, launched an environmental awareness and conservation initiative at Wadi El Rayan Protected Area in Fayoum Governorate, in celebration of World Environment Day 2026. The initiative forms part of the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening corporate social responsibility, protecting the environment, and supporting sustainable development.
The initiative brought together representatives from Fayoum Governorate, including the Director of the Environmental Affairs Agency in Fayoum Governorate and the Manager of Wadi El Rayan Protected Area, alongside representatives from local NGOs and civil society organizations focused on environmental protection and sustainability, in addition to employees of Fayoum Gas and Valmore Holding.
The initiative included a clean-up campaign and a series of awareness activities aimed at raising environmental awareness among employees, members of the local community, and visitors to the protected area. It also sought to encourage responsible environmental behavior and support efforts to preserve the unique ecosystems that characterize Fayoum Governorate. Furthermore, the initiative highlighted the environmental, natural, and touristic value of both Lake Qarun and Wadi El Rayan, which are among Egypt’s most prominent natural attractions and environmentally significant protected areas.
The initiative is part of Fayoum Gas’ broader efforts to activate its corporate social responsibility role through practical initiatives that serve local communities, strengthen partnerships with government entities and civil society organizations, and translate sustainability principles into tangible actions on the ground. It also reflects the company’s commitment to linking responsible operational performance with positive environmental and social impact.
In this context, Eng. During 2025, we reduced electricity consumption by 14.4%, lowered gasoline consumption by 4.9%, and reduced CO₂ emissions by 5.9% compared to the previous year. The company also obtained ISO 50001 certification, reflecting our commitment to integrating energy efficiency and sustainability principles into our daily practices while working closely with all stakeholders to preserve Fayoum’s natural heritage for future generations.”
